Dear BCM Families, 

 I wanted to outline the precautions we are taking to provide a healthy environment for your children and our staff members. We will be working with the Department of Social Services and Department of Public Health to stay informed on all recommended procedures and will follow them accordingly.

*Any staff member that shows any sign of illness will not be able to return to work until they have recovered fully from any illness they may have 

*Each child and teacher will have a wellness check performed each morning. We will also perform wellness checks throughout the day to keep an eye out for any signs of illness.

*Any child that shows signs of sickness must be picked up immediately and cannot return until symptom free, for 24 hours, without the use of medications. This includes, but not limited to, fever, rash, coughing, excessive runny nose, vomiting and diarrhea. 

*The janitorial service will disinfect each night including classrooms, offices, bathrooms and frequently touched surfaces with approved disinfectants. In addition, staff will frequently sanitize classrooms throughout the day

*We have installed HEPA filters throughout the school that are changed every three months.

*Hand-washing will be required frequently for both children and teachers. We have installed sinks in all classrooms and will have touch free soap dispensers 

*We ask that parents utilize valet drop off to minimize exposure to our school.
